Spring has finally arrived here in Vienna and I’m more than happy about it! So what better way to celebrate the warm weather than with a floral print jumpsuit. Also what toughens up a girly look the best? Leather, which is the theme for this months blog parade.
My favourite material for an edgy look is. You look instantly bad ass when you wear something made of leather or faux leather. Also leather to me is always on trend. You’ll always have a nice leather jacket or a well fitting leather pants in your wardrobe, therefore, its a classic item for anyone.
For this blog parade, I wasn’t quite sure, what piece to style for you. In previous blog posts, I already showed you how to style faux leather pants, a biker leather jacket, a faux leather mini skirt, a faux leather wrap skirt and a faux leather vest.Read More
Since I’m lacking posts in the beauty category, I thought it was right about time to write something new. Today I want to tell you about some skincare products from The Ordinary, which I’ve tried recently and helped me clear up my skin.
THE ORDINARY SKINCARE REVIEW
Let me give you a bit of background information about The Ordinary if you haven’t heard from them. The Ordinary is an umbrella brand from DECIEM, which focuses on advanced and functional beauty. The brand is more known for their core brands NIOD and Hylamid, which are also skincare brands. Additionally, they also offer hair products and food supplements. Integrity plays an important part in the communication strategy of the company. Big companies use commonplace technologies and advertise them as groundbreaking while overcharging customers for these products.
Today’s theme for the blog parade is stripes, which is just a classic for the spring season. Therefore everyone should have a stripy thing in their life.
I simply love stripes. It’s just an easy way for me to spruce up my outfit. What I probably love most about stripes is the versatility. For example, if you don’t feel too comfortable with the graphic shirt trend but still want to change up your basic t-shirt just go with a striped shirt. It’s like an in-between option and in my opinion easier to style. Or if you want a Parisian feel to your outfit – a blazer, a striped shirt and red lips and you are good to go.
The bomber jacket is my go-to item when I want to look casual but cool and I have a few of them in my collection. Today I’m showing one of my favourite bombers at the moment.
THE BOMBER JACKET
By now you should know that bomber jackets are a must have in my wardrobe. In previous posts, I already showed you some of my jackets like my pink one, burgundy one, and black one. This bomber jacket* I’m wearing is very different to the ones I own. It’s a handmade design by Stev_Jnr the designer of Meldimm Couture. He promotes African fabrics in his designs and creates wonderful pieces, which have a modern look. The bomber jacket is part of his recent Spring 2017 collection.
Its Bloparade time again yay. This time we are showing you seven ways to style Sneakers.
Sneakers are my favourite footwear for spring. They are versatile, comfy and instantly give a casual touch to any outfit. In this blog post, I told you already that I own more than 100 pairs of shoes – half of them are Sneakers. Amongst my collection are classic shoes like Converse or my Adidas Superstars (which I have shown you in this or this post already) as well as many many more. My Sneakers have to be either super minimal and have to fit with every outfit or they have to be super fancy and make the statement in my Outfit.
It’s the end of the month and it’s time for another Blogparade. This time we choose the colour black as a theme. Even though we’re slowly approaching the spring, black items are still a classic in my wardrobe, which can be worn in any season.
ALL BLACK EVERYTHING
I think this is by far the easiest topic, which we had so far for our blog parade. I’ve got millions of black items in my wardrobe. If I wanted I could probably dress completely in black for 2 weeks straight without wearing something twice (I know that’s a bit crazy #shopaholic). For me, black clothes are simply a basic that everyone should have – like the little black dress.
