Spring has finally arrived here in Vienna and I’m more than happy about it! So what better way to celebrate the warm weather than with a floral print jumpsuit. Also what toughens up a girly look the best? Leather, which is the theme for this months blog parade.
My favourite material for an edgy look is. You look instantly bad ass when you wear something made of leather or faux leather. Also leather to me is always on trend. You’ll always have a nice leather jacket or a well fitting leather pants in your wardrobe, therefore, its a classic item for anyone.
For this blog parade, I wasn’t quite sure, what piece to style for you. In previous blog posts, I already showed you how to style faux leather pants, a biker leather jacket, a faux leather mini skirt, a faux leather wrap skirt and a faux leather vest. As you can see, I’m clearly obsessed with anything leather. Therefore, I thought about what else I haven’t shown you before. Ideally would have been either a dress or shorts. But I don’t own any leather dresses and I didn’t bring my leather shorts with me to Vienna (went home for the holidays). Also, I didn’t want to buy any new clothing pieces, as I’m trying to be more responsible with my shopping and save some money (the student life is real).
So for this look, I’m kinda cheating a bit but let me give you some deeds on the outfit first. I bought this gorgeous floral print jumpsuit two years ago from Forever21 (here is an alternative and I also linked some others above). Back then I didn’t really like floral clothing (I thought it is too girly for me) but something really drew me to this jumpsuit. I really liked the cut of it and the way it’s kinda sexy without revealing too much. So here is the jumpsuit again two years later and I still love it! The best thing about this floral print jumpsuit is the fact that floral prints are always on trend for the spring season. Hence why I can still show this beauty off (not that being on trend really matters).
This Jumpsuit is pretty long on me that’s why I always need to wear heels with them. I went for this old pair of black heel with gold details from Zara (again similar items linked above). I didn’t take pictures of them properly (sorry guys) but they are really nice and comfy.
Now on to the leather part of this outfit. This look is very feminine and soft, so a leather piece is perfect for breaking the lookup. Therefore I decided to add this big leather bag from Hugo Boss (similar item above). The bag belongs to my sister and she bought it years ago. It’s still holding up well and it fits all my
unnecessary belongings. I think it gives the outfit a bit of a casual look, which I like.
What do you think of this floral print jumpsuit? How do you like the outfit?
