I’ve never done a collaboration with fellow bloggers before. Therefore I was very excited when I got the opportunity to not only collaborate with one but with six lovely ladies. Once a month we will show you how to style a wardrobe piece. The theme for this month, as you can read from the title is scarves.
First of all this is a very casual look. Since I’m mostly at campus running from one classroom to another, I’m not really concerned in wearing fancy clothes. So this is how you would see me on most days on campus, very casual and laid back. A simple jeans and a t-shirt kinda look. My shirt is one of my favorite styles from Zara. They do them every year in different colors. The material is very soft and it has a flattering cut. My boyfriend jeans are an old pair from Zara, that once again goes well with the comfy vibe. Over that I wore my Duster Coat from Asos.
The focal point of my outfit is definitely this big cozy scarf from Zara (if you haven’t noticed by now I’m a Zara girl!). Unfortunately (not really) I didn’t bring a scarf back from Vienna so I had to buy a new one. I don’t think I mentioned it on the blog, but I’m currently studying in England for my masters degree. It’s quite exciting and everything is still very new to me but don’t worry I’m going to tell you more about it in future blog posts.
Back to the scarf: Its huge, which I really like because you have the option to wear it in multiple ways. Normally I just let the ends casually hang over my shoulders. That although in all honesty isn’t always keeping me warm. So if I feel the need of more warmth I tuck one end of the scarf just behind my neck. Transforms the look by not doing too much. What I also like do with big scarfs like this, is to wear them as a capes over jackets.
How do you like to wear your scarves? Let me know!
